The Education and Training Authority (ETA) has conducted a week-long institutional quality audit at St. Mary’s University from April 20–25, 2026 (Miyazia 12–17, 2018 EC). The audit, carried out under the ADRI approach, is designed to evaluate the university’s governance, academic programs, infrastructure, and quality assurance practices.
Throughout the week, the audit team is engaging with the university’s leadership, department heads, teachers, students and key committees to review documents and hold discussions on areas such as financial management, staffing, infrastructure, program development, teaching and learning, and student assessment. Site visits are also included, allowing the team to directly observe facilities and resources. Each day concludes with review sessions and liaison meetings to consolidate findings and ensure effective communication.

This initiative highlights St. Mary’s University’s commitment to progress and accountability. By approaching the evaluation with openness and diligence, the university demonstrates that it is not only meeting established standards but also striving for continuous improvement. The process underscores St. Mary’s dedication to academic quality and its ongoing efforts to strengthen trust among its community and stakeholders.
