In a major step towards ES ISO 21001:2018 certification, St. Mary’s University (SMU) has commenced a five-day training program for its dedicated task force members on June 4,2025. The training, held in the Syndicate Room, is being led by an expert from the Institute of Ethiopian Standards (IES) and marks a significant milestone in SMU’s commitment to international academic standards.
This initiative comes as part of SMU’s broader quality enhancement efforts following its partnership with IES for technical support in achieving ISO certification.
