St Mary’s University founder and President, Wondwosen Tamrat (PhD, Associate Prof.), has been selected to serve as distinguished member of the Task Force for the online University of the Least Developed Countries (LDCs) by the UN-OHRILLS. The online University is a “proposed UN initiative, stemming from the Doha Programme of Action, to provide quality, affordable online graduate education, especially in STEM, to bridge access gaps in the world’s poorest nations”. It is indeed a great honor and recognition to him in particular and the University in general.
