Orientation Sessions Held for Freshman Students
St. Mary’s University has organized orientation sessions for 2014 E.C Freshman students of the 2014 E.C. Academic Year from May 16-19, 2022, at the Undergraduate Campus, SMU.
Opening remarks were made by Ato Tedla Haile, Executive Vice President of St. Mary’s University, who warmly welcomed the students and gave highlights about St. Mary’s University, its postgraduate and graduate programs; policy issues focusing on gender and equity, Anti-sexual harassment and smoking, among others.
Several key program and administrative offices including the Registrar Office, Student Support Services Office, Library, Career and Internship Unit, ICT Development and Support Unit, deans/heads of Finance Office, Center for Educational Improvement and Quality Assurance (CEIQA), made brief presentations about their offices/units and the service they provide.
More than 1100 freshman students of 2014 E.C. Academic Year took part in the orientation sessions.
