Guidance and Counseling Unit was established in 2005, under SASO, to enhance student-learning outcomes. Counseling Services include assistance with educational and career counseling as well as personal problems, and with learning effective coping skills related to emotional conflict, interpersonal relations, and human sexuality. The Unit pays special attention to students' physical and mental health care, recreation, cultural activities, sports, career assistance, job placement, social welfare, etc. It also organizes discussion forums on topical issues like HIV/AIDS.  In consultation and collaboration with SASO, it coordinates New Students’ Orientation Programs so that students would be acquainted with the policy of the University College and relevant offices.
Assistance is available on a “drop-in” basis or by appointment.
