The School of Business, Undergraduate Program formerly named Business Faculty launched its programs in 1998.It took its present shape in August 2005 with the view to provide efficient and quality service to the rapidly growing number of students joining the business streams of the University and meet the skilled workforce requirements of the labor market.
The School of Business, Undergraduate Program offers training in the fields of Accounting, Management, Marketing Management, and Tourism and Hospitality Management at undergraduate level.
The day to day activities of the School of Business, Undergraduate Program are executed by department heads and, occasionally, with the assistance of Associate Dean, School of Business. But, issues pertaining to policy and institutional development are discussed and endorsed by the Faculty Academic Commission, whose members constitute, other than the Associate dean and department heads, one instructor and one student representative. The secretary of the commission is elected from the members. Faculty Academic Commission meetings are normally held fortnightly.
The School of Business, Undergraduate Program comprises four departments, which include: Accounting, Management, Marketing Management, and Tourism and Hospitality Management departments. All departments except the department of Accounting are offering Degree programs.
